He's keeping a list of people who he met who are famous and who are not random people from youtube.
And he's proud to have met Barbara Bush. And he's proud... And he's proud to have met Barbara Bush. Did I say he's proud? You met Ian Watkins at prison? (He was then captive so it doesn't count) |

I don't count seeing as meeting.
I've met Robin Williams, Stanley Tucci and Jim McMahon. Heather Graham eye fucked me on a Manhattan street, so I'll count that too.

By myself I have met (absolutely by chance and by no merit of my own) -the queen of England (she visited my entire school not me but I met her) -jhon travolta (sacher hotel in vienna) -feodor emilianenko (just walked in to my gym) -sultan of jawa buwono the XII i think (was visiting the palace he is a cool guy walks around his people ect) not bad for a 3rd world guy... |

Seeing famous people is easy, and is in no way meeting. If that was the case you could say you met 200+ people every time you go out.
As for meeting, I'd say you don't really meet someone until you have talked to them for 5+ minutes. Even then you are just meeting them in passing. There are a number of "Famous" people that I have met over the years and my meeting them I mean talking to them, having drinks with them, hanging out with them etc.. In the same context that I would express having met a friend. *not saying I would call these "famous" people my friends. Just saying that you don't see a friend in from 50 feet away and say you met up with them. |

In the early 90's, I used to work at a restaurant and we had famous people come in quite often. Some of the people I've met include
Brian Dennehy (he's a huge guy) Bette Midler Pierce Brosnan Wayne Gretzky John Candy David Carradine (when he was drying out after punching his fist through a glass door in the skydome) Kathleen Turner

I was an actor in LA throughout most of the 90s. I couldn't even begin to put together a list as it would be close to 1000 people... not just seen, but met, worked with, hung out with, partied with etc from A listers to D listers lol. It's almost easier for me to mention who I haven't seen.
A few of my favorite exchanges... Working with Heather Locklear on Melrose Place Working with LLcoolJ on In the House Hanging out with Jack Nance on a few occasions (RIP) Hanging out with Dave Foley on his set of News Radio and also hanging out with Andy Dick and working out with him at the Gym. Also met Phil Hartman (RIP) Meeting Rancid and then getting invited backstage to hangout with the band Hanging out with the Descendants after a few of their shows Dinner with Soleil Moon Frye (and others) Shit... the list goes on and on and on...

Sheryl Crow -- had a 10 min conversation with her backstage at a local rock festival I did security for.
Prince Andrew (aka 'Randy Andy') and the Queen --- met them at the Commonwealth games in Edmonton in '78, shook hands with the prince. Bobby Hull -- Back in '79, got him and three other Jets players to sign my body cast (had back surgery that year) Lots more mostly local and Canadian celebs.

I've seen tons, said 'hey Mr./Ms Celebrity I'm a big fan' to quite a few, actually exchanged a few sentences with a smaller number.
Biggest celeb to say hi to was Paul Newman, at a race track in the middle of nowhere in Canada. He was racing, saw him in the coffee shop of the only motel near the track. John Candy, like a few million other people. As a kid I worked for the catering company at the pro tennis tournament a few years, so met or saw every major tennis star of the early 80's while working in the players' tent - met John McEnroe and his dad. Many NHL hockey players and coaches, attending hockey camps and also lived in the same neighborhood as a bunch of Toronto Maple Leafs of the early 80's. I went to the same schools as Tim Horton's kids, all girls. I saw the Queen's mother in a limousine pass by my house, members of the Royal Family would stay at a famous estate near our house. I met a bunch of US senators walking through their office building - I forget the name of the building but crazy, you could just walk in, no security that I can remember, get on an elevator and explore the different floors. It was neat, like walking through any company's offices, reading the senators' names on the doors, and most of the doors weren't closed, we stopped and talked to Ted Kennedy's secretary hoping to meet him but he wasn't around. We rode an elevator with a famous senator whose face I knew from his appearances on TV news programs, Sen. Alan Simpson, he was extremely nice, asking us questions about where we were from, what we were studying in school, my interest in politics etc Oh, Jerry Lewis, who was a prick, literally body checked me as I was approaching him to say hi and get an autograph hopefully, I was 9 years old. Maybe a bad day and he had to run to use a toilet, who knows. I can't imagine being a major celebrity, I think it would grow old very fast.

back in my 20's when I was a waiter and bartender:
Bill Gates and his wife, father, and mother in law Jeff Bezos and his wife (very down to earth and genuine people every time) Steve Ballmer (was not at all excited to meet him, did not actually talk to him other than what he wanted to order) Cindy Crawford (drool, drool, and more drool) fuck she was hot back then Mike Nichols (famous director and wife to Dianne Sawyer) He was very kind and warm. While in Los Angeles: Jessica Biel and her dog "East". She is naturally gorgeous and very genuine Mark Harmon (I worked on Navy NCIS for a while and met the entire cast). He was a very respectful person to everyone on set. Thomas Ian Nicholas from American Pie. I worked on a music video of his and also worked on the photo shoot for his wife DJ Collette. Both of them are very kind, down to earth, and genuine people. Nice couple. Mariel Hemingway and her present husband. She is wonderful and very approachable. They are a beautiful couple. Arnold Schwarzenegger and his family. Sprague Grayden from the TV show 24 and Jericho. Very cool and actually spent quite a bit of time talking to her on many occasions. Danny Treo but who has not met this guy Jennifer Garner (totally down to earth) Lisa Bonet and that dude from Game of Thrones (beautiful couple, real people) Pamela Anderson (always a scowl on her face, looked like a fucking bag lady). I never actually spoke to her so she does not count but I did not speak to her by choice because she was so fucking gross in the way she talks to people. Fuck her. Jenna Jameson of course! (when she was still hot) From Tyler Shields parties: That chick from Californication with the great set of tits who was 16 when Hank fucked her, that gay guy from InSync who has not yet come out of the closet (so obvious he is gay and he was with another obviously gay guy at the party, actors from American Pie and similar C and D list celebs that I really do not know. Also that guy from Seinfeld who had a Pakistan themed restaurant. I think his character's name was Badu or something like that. There are many others who I was in the same room with but never actually talked to. |

I played (bass) one night with Peter Tork at a bar in LA... he's really not a good musician. Another time, I accompanied Chris Penn when he came up onto the bandstand to sing a couple songs--he was pretty good. That same night, I met the guy who played the cook in Apocalypse Now, and ended up chatting to him for 20-30 minutes.
I used to work at Universal Studios so saw loads of actors, and one former president--Jimmy Carter. I met Elon Musk at the AVN convention one year--he was with a friend of mine who works in Silicon Valley and who loves porn... I actually have some photos from the day. |

Killer
A month before killing his family, Lowell Lee Andrews, The Nicest boy in Kansas
We were at the American Royal Parade. I was so small I couldn't see because of the people in front. Lowell in his Eagle Scout uniform, knew my step-dad so he put me up on his shoulders so I could see. Lowell was the guy hung just before Hitchcock & Smith in the book In Cold Blood. Lowell was so fat, when the hung him his neck didn't snap. Took a 1/2 hour of pulling on his legs to get the job done. Phil Rizzuto at a baseball card show. At the time I didn't know he was the announcer in paradise by the dashboard light |

I met Rino Vadera.
Rino isn't the most well known celeb in the world. Actually he's a wannabe actor who played a baker in a tv pilot that didn't turn into a fully fledged tv series. However, he carried out his role as a baker with panache and style and put the cherry on the top of the cake with exemplary precision and sophistication. Since then he's basically quit acting and is now a (real life) waiter but he technically had his 15 minutes of fame. Actually, it was more like half a minute but he's done some youtube videos so if you add it all up, its in that ballpark. I can't find him on IMDB any more but I guess his name is somewhere there up in lights. |

I did tech support at a large university so I met quite a few football players some who later went into the NFL, some I spent extensive time with while fixing their computers. I'll let you guess which school, I also spent a lot of time going to punk and metal shows so here are some where I got to meet at least some of the band members.
Warrick Dunn Jesse Solomon Bobby Bowden Jeff Bowden Deion Sanders Derrick Brooks Brad Johnson Iron Maiden Corrosion of Conformity Dirty Rotten Imbeciles Saint Vitus The Mentors Gardy Loo Voivod Soundgarden The Cro-Mags Henry Rollins Julie Newmar and my most favorite to brag about Gunnar Hansen - also known as Leatherface in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre!
