you never really know when it's going to turn weird on you
saw an ad for shoe shines on CL, I have 5-6 pair of expensive shoes I need shined... ($350-$600 a pair is expensive to me) so I hit the guy up to see if he will come to my location.....

When would you like to come by Sir? no big deal, I miss read stuff all the time.... ----no way I can get down there...why I asked what it would take to get you to come over ****Oh I'm sorry I misread that. I could come by and do them for $10 each if you have at least 4 pairs. ---- $60 including gas etc...be at my place ****Cool just you? I usually provide the king experience, shine your shoes while you wear them and lick them for a while first so you can enjoy getting your shoes shined like a boss. wtf right? gotta be a typo.... so just in to be clear ----Sorry no licking ****I see, sorry it's part of how I do it, most guys really like it. On the trading floor I worked on, we had a guy who used to come around and offer to shine shoes for $5. I never knew how he obtained the permission to do that, there was a ton of security. He didn't have a box or anything, just very basic shine.
