Whenever someone tells me that their house is haunted or they saw a ghost, I tell them to look up the following terms:

- pareidolia
- apophenia
- hypnagogic state
- pathetic fallacy
- Occcam's Razor

I didn't but, my kid was looking at some photos my mum had found when my nan died. I'd never seen them, or knew the people in them.
My kid was looking at them and says there's Hector.
Said he used to come and see her when she was little.

We didn't even know who the guy in the photo was so asked my old Aunt who the guy in the photo was, and yep he was called Hector and was my Nans uncle. Died in the 40's

Cant explain that away at all. Freaked me the fuck out though.
