But what about the "Littlest Hobo" - wasn't that Canadian? I used to love that show when I was a kid. What about that show about a Canadian Mountie and his husky dog? What was it called? That was a popular show even in UK. | |

				 | I work for Dating Factory and we have an office in England, and I talk people there all the time. Although we all speak the same language, the differences can be huge. The other day my boss told me "don't cock it up". HUH? It's rather amusing.

				 | I'm in Canada. All of my TV viewing is American. Us Canadians just make crappy shows. There are a few exceptions but generally Canadian content is dull, dull dull. Americans do good TV.

				 | Its called "cultural imperialism" where the imperial power completely wipes out the native countries culture. All cinema chains and product are controlled by the US Even so called British films are just scams to get tax breaks. Can anyone believe that "we Have to Talk about Kevin" was a British film? Other films are where Britain supplies quaint false royal history for the USA whose own history belongs to the people they murdered and replaced. |

				 | Define "American". Some of you Canadians would be surprised how many shows are actually produced right here. eg; "Suits"

				 | Being in Canada, I'd say a large percentage of movies/shows I watch are American. But an increasing number of movies are being shot in Canada these days - so the lines are blurring. It wasn't till the third-watching of the Hulk movie before I realized, "Damn...that looks like Hamilton and Toronto." |

				 | Movies - may be cca 60 pct. guess what factors in is that I was raised on and still tend to watch also all sorts of British, other European, and at times even Latin American, Japanese or Hong Kong movies. It's always a refreshing insight into various different cultures. Most of those US movies are either classics or all sorts of B movies that I watch for crap value. Series - cca 85 pct. - with a few British and Scandinavian exceptions it's pretty much all US - we may even speak about a golden age of TV production during the past 15 or so years (unlike theatrical).
