Sons of Anarchy are done

Watched the last show last night, where will I go to see more violence?

haha i felt that way the whole last season. Sloppy and a forced ending rather than a natural one. Closure is overrated. The first few seasons were epic though.

check out Justified or the Shield if you haven't yet. A lot of the same actors/writers involved. No bikes though.

One of the best written shows ever.

Nicely tied into the bundle that it needed to be to end.

Very well done.

you know what? that could be it really. Not just because he's a great actor but he added a much needed grey area character involved. Everything was so black and white after that. Other rivals weren't just rivals they had to be mortal enemies instead which is always boring.

were there still motorcycles on the show? I tuned way out after the show moved away from its' intitial premise and bikes moved to the back burner while soap opera drama moved to front & center.

It pretty much ended exactly how I expected... Jax turning the kids and everything else over to Wendy, and her taking the kids up north with Nero. I noticed they had become close over the last few episodes. Then Jax explained how his Gemma killed his wife to the DA, he stepped down from the club, killed everyone he wanted to kill, and then went out like a blaze of glory.

My cousin in Florida spent the night with Tigs and Juice at a Harley Dealership watching the episode and hanging out and what not. The pix she posted to FB were pretty cool.

He went out exactly like his dad did - except he did it right - he completely removed his sons away from the scene and put them in good hands so it's less likely they will become the monster that he and his dad, and of course his mom, did.. had it not tied into that, I would have hated it too - But he kind of righted what his dad was trying to do, he did it right though, he hopes - and he doesn't want anyone to make him into a hero so they follow him into that.

I was losing interest in the silliness in it here and there - it all got to be a bit too much, but Kurt brought it back into check afterall -

I don't think Kurt is done with this "Family", he will come back and pick it up with Jax's son or his dad - one or the other... or maybe both.

I ride a bike, you get a feeling of rebellion when you haul ass across the world on one. I think that the show was well written and will give anything Sutter writes a try, I like his style.
Real bikers are not like that, I know real bikers. While shit does go down from time to time, it's not an everyday event.

I wouldn't mind a prequel to the starting of the SAMCRO. Especially if it was done more in the style of the first couple seasons.

'Sons of Anarchy' Creator Kurt Sutter Teases 'First 9' Prequel Series

Kurt Sutter has already hinted at this, and I read somewhere in Hollywood that they are in pre-production and location scouting for the series.

Story of how it all started.

No, in the last episode, they scratched up the bikes pretty good. And they did do drugs from time to time.

They spend six seasons making Wendy the evil, drug fiending bitch. Then in the last season they make her a saint and she gets the kids.

I missed some things:
Who was that homeless lady who gave jax the coat and what was that bun that she ate and which appeared on the road at the end of the episode?

Did they shoot Happy's hand so that they could tell Jax son that Jax went against the club?

Mayham was not really mayham compared to the real one thathappened to some other member.

And LOL at the waste of cops resources, 15 cars/bike sin pursuit of 1 bike? Is that how they waste resources in real life or completely false and just for show?

She was the ghost of Brooke's mother, who died in the crash with John Teller. It was bread and wine....a biblical reference. (Body of Christ, Blood of Christ). I read someone compare it to the last supper of Jax. And at the very end, it was the bread, and then Jax's blood flowing to the bread. Almost as if Sutter was calling Jax a martyr (to his family and club).

No, it was so they could have an excuse to tell the other chapters (who urged the mayhem vote) why they didn't kill Jax. After they shot Happy's arm, Chibs said something about telling the others that Jax "fired off some shots and got away."

Because unlike in the other instance, nobody in SAMCRO wanted to even have the mayhem vote for Jax. Jax made Chibs (and the rest of SAMCRO) go along with his plan.

Just for show, though it did remind me of the OJ Simpson/AC white bronco chase.

No Names mentioned, but

I know 1%'s, MC's, DC's and RC's. It was riding with the DC's that was probably the craziest ride. I got that invite just by hanging out at the VFW. They all have great parties!

Hell you can go to the Sage Brush cantina on most Sundays during the summer and see all of them, or ride down to Neptune's Net in Malibu. They don't wear their colors at the SageBrush, but picking them out is easy, just see what colors they are wearing, Red and White, Blue and White, Green. Did you know that the actor Robert Patrick is the president of the local Booze Fighters?

Going to the Club House is a little different.

This is pedantic but the fictional town of Charming is located in Northern California near the Stockton and Lodi area- so Nero took Wendy and the two kids down south to Norco, California in Riverside County, not up north.

Fell asleep twice during Jax suicide ride, woke up and it still wasn't over.

Aly tells me all the time I have a man crush on Kurt, will watch anything he is involved in, this last season was a real letdown.

Knew the ending as soon as Jax got the hint that JT might have taken himself out. Way too predictable, every step of the way, Jax channeling Opie by saying "I got this" was actually nauseating.

Jax has been a whiny little selfish bitch for the past couple seasons, and if he had a hint of a clue he would have known the truth about Tara within 10 minutes.

Sad ending to what was once a truly epic show

Sutter answered that, saying she was whatever you needed her to be, end of story

Carbon is not the problem, it makes up 0.041% of our atmosphere , 95% of that is from Volcanos and decomposing plants and stuff. So people in the US are responsible for 13% of the carbon in the atmosphere which 95% is not from Humans, like cars and trucks and stuff and they want to spend trillions to fix it while Solar Panel plants are powered by coal plants
think about that

You'd think Rochard would have figured that out, considering that's pretty much there he lives.

But then again, I'm not surprised.

Yeah, Sutter didn't cop to shit on it, really, but if you paid close attention (or read comments/posts from people who did....lol), one of the scenes at Brooke's dad's house...the pics on the mantle in the background of the family had the same actress as the homeless lady with Brooke and her dad, indicating that she is/was Brooke's mom.

i enjoyed the series and while i would of liked a happy ending where jax, tara and the boys get out and live happily ever after this ending was just more real and left a greater impression. i could of done without a lot of the retaliation of the last season, i felt there could of been so much more they could of done instead but still a great show. i will miss it.

That's just it, there is nothing realistic about this ending. All the 'bad guys' are killed and the 'good' criminals carry on and there are no more murders. What is realistic about that?

socio-paths don't off themselves either.

its more real in that there is no way to just walk away from that lifestyle and live 'happily ever after'. he tried time and time again to get 'out' but got sucked back deeper each time. the only way to get out was to no longer exist, or at least that's how he saw it.

him righting those wrongs and cleaning up loose ends may of been outside the realm of reality but the point was that he was sacrificing himself for the things he loved, his club and his boys and in his mind, making the things he made wrong, right.

Yeah I liked that you needed to pay attention, so many stories going on all at once. Toward the end, almost forgot about Teller's book, something that started so much in previous seasons

A soap opera about men in leather chaps on bikes.
I recommend Dynasty or The Bold and the Beautiful based on your taste.

quoted for truth, although i did finish the last couple season(came to far to turn back). it wasnt as interesting the last few seasons, just overly complex drama.
