Everything has a trend, and I was thinking what is the current trend for porn?
2014 has been mainly about selfies in general, so am I right to say the trend is naked selfie porn? or am I talking total rubbish and there is no such thing as trend in porn.

Cams are already dying off for 2 reasons.

1) Everything is quickly switching to mobile. It's not an enjoyable experience to try and do a jerk off session with a someone using a tablet or iPhone.

2) The same 3rd world scammers that are killing facebook are now starting to kill webcams with their con jobs.

Well I think the fucking machines trend has come and gone 10 years ago. So it's going to be actual animated dolls that look like real women.

I'll photograph and film pretty much anything someone pays me to do without any questions being asked. So I kind of find myself often moving around in swinger circles and from my point of view some of them are pretty weird.

The under 30 crowd tends to be pretty fucked up. Just before Christmas I shot a swingers party where all the men wore mask which is fine and dandy. But it was a doll swapping party amongst 5 men. And just before New Years I got a call to do another party in the next 2 weeks.

Which model would choose to cam on tablet or phone instead of on computer? I do not recall ever seeing that on any of the rooms... It would not make any sense - lesser quality (less viewers), less convenient and so on.

Google Trends

Selfies are on the down side of the "adoption curve".

XloveCam supports mobile natively -- no flash and no app download ...

I am not overly concerned with scammers -- we have effective counter measures in place.

Mobile cams and selfies were an idea I explored a few years ago but without the mobile emphasis. I will revisit that idea with an upgrade of an affiliate tool we will be considering.

Well sexploitation is the first thing that comes to mind. But there's thousands of other scams being pulled too.
