Godaddy is just okay.
Afternic doesn't have the volume. Sedo DOES have the volume and may be the best in the market but has deteriorated in the last few years. The main problem is that its very expensive in terms of sales commissions (15% to 20% I believe). DNS (DomainNameSales) is also good but will only accept very limited and large size portfolios of domain names. You can sell through them and pay commissions or even you can sell/broker the domains yourself and pay zero commissions. However, as I said they are extremely fussy about who they will accept. End of the day, if someone is interested in your domain they will usually be more likely to contact you directly through WHOIS rather than to make an offer through a sales site (but it does happen, from time to time). |
