2015 GFY People's Choice Awards WINNERS!

The 4th Annual GFY People's Choice Awards took place Monday January 19th during interNEXT Expo 2015. This was a chance for everyone in the industry to make their voices felt as to who rightfully deserved awards as the best in 28 industry categories.

This was a night filled with comedy, exotic dancers, midgets, old school rock and webmaster jamming! After the awards we celebrated the winners with booze and a very lovely ladies in the famous Sapphire Club of Las Vegas. It was a party that will not be forgotten about any time soon!

People/companies get nominated by themselves or others, then there are 3 or 4 rounds of voting, open to all GFY account holders.

Unless I'm mistaken that's how it works.

I'm asking WHY? Why does someone deserve the award? What did they do to deserve it? Saying "they or someone else nominated them(selves)...doesn't give a reason as to why they should actually get it.

There's never any mention of what they actually did to get nominated. I would just like to hear what someone did in 2014, that they should even be considered -- other than they're a popular member on the board...and no one knows anything else.

I got nominated because I along with many others wrote an educational series article in 2014 and then people voted for the one they thought should win.

Crak came out with their geomatic tool, that is what they did in 2014. I don't recall the others in the category and what they won.

There are 2 reasons why for you.

The voting is closed now, done for another year. Next year when they announce it again that's when you should ask all those who post for votes why they deserve it.

I suggest you write to Eric and demand he suspend all winners for an official public recount and each nominee should write a 2000 word essay explaining why they deserve to win. Let me know how that works out for you.
