AdultFriendFinder PPO vs PCT
Has anyone out there, with significant traffic (10+ confirmed orders per day), done any extensive testing comparing Pay Per Order VS Percentage revenue on AFF? I've always assumed that the Pay Per Order format does better, so have never taken the risk of testing percentage payout.

start with pps and if your traffic is worth, they will keep you to pps , else they will convert you to rev-share.
after few days if you are still at pps then switch yourself to rev-share. 2 cents.

PCT would be the way to go by far unless you are getting something like $150+ PPO. The problem is you can expect 10-20% credits/chargeback by sales revenue and that is with absolutely nothing misleading and their own lander doing the selling.

Thanks for the input. Been promoting AFF since 1998 or thereabouts. Problem is, once you get to a certain level, trying a different payout format can be a huge risk (or a huge benefit), as the effect on the earnings could be significant. That's why I was hoping to hear from some other high volume affilates as to their testing and results.
As far as 10 to 20% chargeback...you might want to reexamine your ad strategy. Can't say I have ever experienced anything over 5%. Under sell - over deliver works every time. |

Be quick as I wouldn't be surprised to see the posts disappear for one reason or another. My experience is almost half of all sales over $60 will "credit" or "refund". It's become a joke to me. I'm not making income I'm getting a loan from them. They pay me one week and then the next they take it back!
