Well, their original goal was to push for legislation to force anything considered adult content onto a .xxx domain. So don't forget their endless lobbying efforts and continual lies to push for the creation of .xxx and what their motivation was to begin with.

Then, being true scumbags - they use fear tactics to get companies to defensively register super expensive .xxx domains to protect their marks as if it mattered at all.

One way or another, they exist to fuck people over, not to do legitimate business and offer value to customers.

I was thinking the same but approx a year ago changed my mind and I buy only .com since. As the adult industry is changing, decreasing in some way a Lot of good names are becoming available again. Also, TONS of names are just bought but never developed and owners don't ask That much for them..

Yes, I got pretty a pretty good amount of traffic from search.xxx. Well worth the price of the domain, All I did was change things in the tour to match .xxx then pointed to my .com members area.

I would be all for .xxx if they stuck to what they said they would do.

Many reasons. Mainly for the people who have so much invested in .com especially if porn was forced to .xxx only.
