Holy shit what a great movie. The last 15 minutes is some of the best filmmaking I've seen in long time.
I know JK Simmons was great, but what about the kid? Simmons didn't have to play the drums like a maniac and get exhausted to near death. It really made me think about the nature vs nurture thing. Would he be as good as he became with a more nurturing coach? I'm sad to say I doubt it.
