I think they are stretching it a bit far to make a story.. Her connection is that she posted a picture of herself with an Imam of the Islamic Society of Boston. That group has a same "parent group" which runs the mosque which the Boston bombers attended..

That's like saying you are connected to gang bangers because you posted a picture of yourself with Dr Dre..
