I got a 'Calls Only' Phone Last Week - Love it...
So now I have a Smart Phone and a really mini calls only phone - It's great...
I love my big old Android but it's crap as a phone - With this 'new' 5 year old antique I have 4 or 5 days battery and when I plug it in from flat it just works - None of this wait an hour BS - It's small enough to get lost in my shirt pocket and I still have my Android for everything else..... I think I might have stumbled onto something  ... |

I keep a phone from 1998, along with a car charger, in my glovebox. It has a 10 character display. Never use it any more (except to occasionally test it), but if I'm ever stuck in a marginal area and need help, I'd rather have my semi-brick with long range antenna, rather than my pissy little smartphone with internal antenna...
