I say sure man go ahead and testify tell me how the good lord has helped you lately.

He says well my chronic drinking was a deal killer and burden for my friends and family for at least 10 years or more and now instead of drinking 6-7 beers a day he drinks 2-3 beers a week and no longer drinks because he needs to but drinks because he chooses to during social gatherings.

I say that is great news I am happy to hear that the lord certainly seems to help those who help themselves.

He says yeah and guess what else the good lord has helped me with....?

I say please tell...

Old friend says....well I used to have a really bad porn habit, but the good Lord has *ALL* but taken the urge from me anymore and now I get tons of porn links in my email box but I instead of pressing open I now press delete!

Porn isn't the enemy of the 'riteous'. Temptation is. Nothing wrong with a little fast food now and again. Nothing wrong with placing a bet or buying a lotto ticket either.
