I watched 2 episodes and haven't a clue what it's about.

Even the first one was slow and hard to follow. OK there was a murder to solve, so get down and solve it.

Too many US programs are too cluttered with meaningless sub plots.

That doesn't make sense
Who is that guy?
etc,

Is not a fan..

Yes, it is very good show. Just not in a truie detective fashion, in a regular detective show fashion. Meaning they lost that unique thing from first season and made it just a good regular detective show.

Finding it very very tough to sit through, the first season was intenee, this season is a mess.
