I'd love to talk to this woman and ask her what she thought that would achieve, like seriously what is she thinking. First she pepper sprays the bear so he fucks off, then she gets pissed at it for chewing on her kayak that she left out.

Well, if she came there with the kayak, I understand her concern totally. It is equivalent to someone beating your car into pieces in middle of nowhere (well, there seems to be others, or at least some boat). Anyways, I have done some boating and I wouldn't want my boat to crap for any reason. Though spraying the bear seems to work better than crying for it.
