There, I said it. I am a fan of the actor Shia LaBeouf. He's one of the most underrated method actors of our time. I put him in the same category as Jared Leto as best method actors in Hollywood.

As far as method actors, there are many many very good ones. Shia LaBeouf doesn't immediately come to mind for me, but I'd agree he's a good actor.

Names that spring to mind: Joaquin Phoenix, Robert DeNiro, Jack Nicholson, Daniel Day Lewis.

I don't think there's too many documented cases of Joker overdose deaths. He did a great job as the Joker, I'll give him that, but it was played up because of his death. Perhaps the stories of his overdose being related to the film were exaggerated, but, I do still feel it was an iconic role and one of the best bad guys ever. It's a shame... he was supposed to be in the third one as well
