GDPR coming up

Who is updating affiliate sites to GDPR and EU standards and what are you doing about it ?

We are now blocking storage of cookies untill the user confirms its ok to use cookies and we updated our privacy / cookie policy using iubenda.com.

I am seeing a small decrease in traffic because of it, any other experiences already ?

That is just one small part of what is needed and required to be in compliance. Current email lists are about to shrink by half at least. New email lists are going to grow and much much slower pace. Xsells for EU users are about to plummet.

I am not sure if many realize how deep this law goes and what is required.

I know it is crazy, was expecting more threads about it. If you are an american company with eu visitors you also need to be compliant for the EU visitors. EU companies need to be compliant for everyone, including none EU visitors.
