Anyone Had Carpal Tunnel Syndrome?..
Any advise?..
It came on suddenly about 5 days ago and the medics are not really sure why - It would normally be more gradual - That suggests to me that it was a trauma of some kind..... Its not painful, but I can hardly hold a mouse - Not good when you have a mouse in your hand 90% of your waking hours - However, as this is GFY I can share that masterbation has become way more interesting - Every cloud... |

I "suffer" also from a Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - but i also suffer from chronical arthritis for more then 10 years...
You could visit a Physiotherapist (or Ergotherapist), they are normally quit good and can suggest special trainigns that you can do at home. I once heard that "squeezing" this little anger-balls should help. ;) But when you face to many problems with your Carpal Tunnel Syndrome there is only one way: surgery. I wish you all the best & good luck!

Maybe switching to a trackball will help? I switched from mouse 1-2 years ago and it is awesome

Yes, changing out the mouse for a trackball, a pen and pad or the deskmounted "mousetrappers" are all good. Any type of break or variation is your friend, every time you become too static you hurt yourself.
