I am looking for a replace as well, I'm pretty sure they changed something after updating their platform, Last month my stats was terrific, I got so many free signups with many new spenders, but everything suddenly stopped, I'm shocked now, Either they started to shave or embed links don't work anymore.

On a side note, if cb wanted to really help models, it would be easy to read the campaign id off of offending websites and close their affiliate account for breach of the terms.

That would get rid of 99% of those erroneous take down notices and there would be no need for those shitty companies like International Network.

But cb doesn't do this...

Thanks. Well, not all people spend tons of cash sadly. However, in my experience, if a new user starts spending right away, it's most likely to become a long term spender. I have a guy who spends regularly, but the revenue is around $2.20 per money spent. He's been active since 2016 I guess. Spends 2-3-4 times a week, but the revenue is always the same.. $2.20

Concerns about them:


- they file against legit material, ie: promotools licensed by cam sponsors.

- they file notices that are unrelated to the URLs they include in the report. For example they file a notice for model M1 of Chaturbate and in the list of presumed offending URLs it shows: M2 of StripChat, M3 of StripChat , ...etc ...

- they are inconsiderate: they also add generic URLs thus de-indexing entire pages such as "[domain]/tags/livecams"


Also: can they be competitors who want to get an unfair advantage by de-indexing other webmasters? I find strange that some cam sites don't seem to be affected by those "agents".

Well not always the case and I don't even believe it is the majority of the time.

Why? Because I have had thousands of affiliates on gambling website and now have over 40 000 on chaturbate.

At a given time people decide to call it a day, after spending 50 000$ on cams maybe they decide it`s better to spend this money elsewhere. Maybe they got a new GF, maybe they switched websites.

From my Top 30 spenders in June, only 11 are currently active, I have 4 new that have entered my Top 15 list, I am not happy because sending 40 000 people and having 400 spenders and 95 currently active is not my dream scenario but that`s the game.

Ever since they backtraced a spender and adjusted a payout the consequences will never be the same. I imagine half the people in this thread have emailed support.

I can't see any way they could ever move a spender from a performer back to an affiliate without holy hell breaking loose. I could only imagine the shitstorm the girls would raise on Twitter etc.

They should do it for all accounts, though. There are also a lot of accounts still doing this, and it's going to cause a lot more trouble for CB in the long run if they don't fix it. Like, not allowing html/css except for basics in the profile area could help. (This is how Myspace died, btw...)

Edit: I might be replying to something else, I meant the whole thing with models telling surfers to create new accounts and the affiliate links up top to make them an extra 20%..

I completely agree that it should be set straight for affiliates and then a technical solution implemented so that spenders cannot be moved between accounts.

Chaturbate is the leader in cams, and that this can happen is weirdly incongruous.

The thing that will eventually stop the links in profiles will be the revenue loss to other sites. They must be losing a fortune to Onlyfans etc.

I guess by the end of this year they`ll get rid of the links just like most websites if they don't we might see the beginning of the end for CB.

The real question is why cb never developed their own clip and content on site solution. For content heavy models cb just does not any competitive offer at all.

Sure, I guess thinking that putting up a "sign up with my link to support me" kind of bs is a way for a cam girl to be "smart" and make an extra 20%, but it violates the TOS, and it really pisses off affiliates to a point where CB will no longer be the go-to. Especially when the model is directing people to sign out and create a new account. And CB is losing out on 20% of those that didn't already have a cookie set, not just the affiliates who are losing here. And not including the leaks to other platforms.
Allowing this and cross-promotion only benefits CB where their platform seems like the best and easiest to get set up with as a performer, but that's it. If this keeps going, CB will go away just like they did with WEG.

Chaturbate, hire me and I'll clean all of this up.

I've reported all models mentioned above. Btw, I was thinking about of writing a script that scrapes model profiles from time to time and gather all profile urls with outbound links and affiliate links, but this cloudflare thing is a pain in the ass.

Here is my short review of Chaturbate for 4 years as affiliate.



As we can see in screenshot - there was a drop of spenders (and revenue) after 2018-02.
As i know, that time Chaturbate did some changes in their cookie system and this caused all user logout. Or i am misleading something?
Also, there was a big drop of spenders (and revenue) after 2020-08. I have no idea what caused this. Any ideas? Can anybody share stats with same time frame?

Next thing - models-thieves. I can see in my stats what i lost 7 out of 20 top spenders in about 1 year time frame.
I contacted support and got answer that only 1 spender out of these 7 created new account under a different affiliate URL which does not belongs to any model.
They transferred that spender and referral commissions back to my account.

Despite all these drops in spenders and revenue, model stealing spenders, Chaturbate is the best performing cam affiliate site.
I tried many of them - i can reach 0-5% performance compared to Chaturbate.

"only" represents ~15% of your new accounts. It also could be your biggest whale, so in terms of financial loss it could be a high percentage.

What you said comforts webmasters in what they were thinking from the beginning : there is member reassignment at the expanse of webmasters.

The biggest problem that was created there is showing everyone how "it's done" because now the problem is widespread and unstoppable.

I am also puzzled by the fact that they transferred the spender and its associated commissions back to you thus acknowledging this shouldn't be happening. If that's the case, it should be enforced technically.

Finally there's always the edge case that one of your spenders could genuinely create a new account under another webmaster, how are they making the difference?

Pardon me if I misunderstood. You can't break down by domain in the stats. You can break down by campaign and tracking. The latter can take any text as a value so if you clicked on your affiliate url and replaced the default tracking value in the url with &track=mydomain.com and another time with &track=MyDomain.com then you will have 2 entries.

I remember once having some SQL showing up, which was worrying at the time ...


If you use dynamic tokens that can happen also, depending on the ad network or tracking software you are using the token can take different forms: &track={site}

February was horrible. All my big spenders vanished. Only one small spent money 3 times. It's not posibble that all 10 big spenders stopped to spend money in the same time. I made commisions almost everyday in January. Something wierd happened on CB in Feb
