Well I guess now we know why a lot of affiliates get less revenue now compared to 2017/2016/2015. A lot of cam models try to do everything they can to get money off-site with Amazon, private Skype calls or stealing whales. This sucks!

These private deals exist for years. The good thing about such methods is that they not only
harm the webmasters but also CB and the honest models.
Maybe CB will change its TOS if the damage by such methods is big enough.

Guys, we're supposed to be the smart ones.

Another thing to add to the list: models should provide a list of medias that can be used by affiliates. It is a pain in the ass to spend hours pushing traffic to models who will bite you back in the ass with a dmca for using pictures of them that provide traffic to the platform they live off of.

An easy thing to do would be to have a note in the T&C when they sign up: "I allow Chaturbate's partners to use my profile pictures and clips for the sole purpose of promoting my chaturbate page"

It is also crucial for not losing your social media account if that's what you do.

Should we start making a persistent list of all those important things or else it is just a wasted rant on the Internet: most of those prbs reported above I mentioned months ago. I also see my earnings melting away.

Did you read my last thread about the idea of removing lifetime and effectively binding customers with a more robust bind than simply the username?

Hi, from my point of view this is not a bug, this is how cookies work (they are based on domain) but this is definitely an issue to be looked at. The solution to the issue you are describing is to have them prevent overlays from being put in place. Another solution would be for them to somehow plant a cookie on the cb domain from your whitelabel which you can already achieve by using <whitelabel.chaturbate.com> instead of <whitelabel.com> but then you are limited by ad blockers (which is why I used a <whitelabel.com> form in the first place)

I saw a spike on the 13th in 2015 and 2016. I do not see anything significant in 2017 or 2018. So, no real pattern of significant increases around V Day.

When a visitor is on your <whitelabel.com>, it counts for 1 visit in the stats (it will increment raw visits and unique visits columns)
After the visitor clicks on a custom made SIGN UP button that links out to chaturbate.com the cookie is planted in the visitor's navigator under the chaturbate domain (not the whitelabel), thus any free signup to cb that follows a click on this banner will be credited to the model, not you.

This is not just a matter of being tested, this is how cookies work. Unless the engineers have implemented a workaround then there's a leak.

There is a reason why broadcasters are doing this: it works.

I think it's unacceptable how long chaturbate is taking dealing with this issue. Makes me wonder if they are even bothered to be honest. Personally I will give them a week or two and if there's no action pull their links and look elsewhere.

It has to be addressed systemically, you can't just ask people to be honest.

The problem now with the holes in Charturbate is that everyone knows how to game them. I have even seen guides on setting all of this up. It used to be just a few smart assess doing this, but now nearly every model views this as part of the set up process and perfectly natural.

I see no reason why inbound links are allowed at all, they are nothing less than fraud: why would you need to link to chaturbate from chaturbate. It is easy to restrict this too.
By the time this is addressed, if ever, the market will be saturated. We already missed a lot of potential earnings because of last year's bug with mobile traffic being lost. (cb was benefiting from this bug)

There is one thing we need him to ask the cb engineers (those who know the technical implementation, not the support level 1 folks):

Is a visitor cookied against the *.chaturbate.com domains (and subdomains) when coming from whitelabel.com ? Same question with whitelabel.chaturbate.com

Regardless of this, custom inbound links within chaturbate.com shouldn't be.

I think chaturbate should take away the ability to customize model profiles beyond changing the colours. I know that's not enough to completely stop this problem since they can lead guys away through pm and all that. The fact is the shit they are getting away with now is a joke and rubbed in our faces.

A chaturbate representative should at the very least care enough to post more in here, interact with us about our concerns and put our minds at rest that they are working on fixing these issues.

Do you know anything about the white label bug???its mentioned by a few people on gfy forum that when users on white label site clicked on a affiliate logo on a model room and sign up a account, the white label owner will not get credit, is this bug current being looked into??? I can have the engineers try to replicate things again over the next few weeks."

Im looking up CB stats on similar web and interesting stuff going on. wmu = Epoch 4.14% of the traffic \| Almost 60% of the traffic go out on third party site Am i crazy or ? find bellow an another popular cam site similar web stats Where Processor have Majority of traffic from the site. I really like the last couple years with CB , but something need to be done... All this just make me sick
