didn't watch it yet, but.. how is dreaming different from hallucinations? naturally without any pills.
don't sleep for a couple of days and you will also start hallucinating.
enter deep state of meditation and you may get similar to hallucinations effect

so it is very possible to get into state of hallucinating simply with placebo pills

on a side note, a human can hallucinate on any or all his/her senses not only visuals

They were real, she was just covering her ass and saying they were fake so she didn't get in trouble. That is what I thought she did.

so you asked something that wasn't in the episode?
answer still stands through, you can get hallucinations without any substance enhancers.

here's an example of simplest form of hallucination: think of a lemon. many times when people do that they can almost feel the taste of a lemon in their mouth or on a tip their tongue.

No.

I asked about something in the episode and you provided a possible answer that doesn't coincide with the episode prefaced by your admitting you don't know because you hadn't seen the episode.

dude, you question was how is it possible to hallucinate if pills were placebo, so what if i didn't watch the episode? it is possible. i gave you some reasoning how it is possible

a person can die from a glass of water if he truly believed he drunk poison.

No.

I asked about a specific scene in a television show that you hadn't watched. And your reasoning is more about your assuming I don't understand what a hallucination is.

Yes, I asked a specific question about a specific plot line in a specific episode of a specific TV series. I didn't ask a basic " how does one hallucinate".

so your specific question for a specific plot in a specific episode cannot have a general answer?! although your question sounded pretty general to be honest, the question was really about hallucinating on placebo, i see nothing specific regarding xfiles about that.
or did you simply realized it was a dumb question to begin with after my and Brian's answers? why are you always in defensive and keep arguing? you asked i gave my insight, move on.

i doubt if when i watch the episode tonight i will have a different answer, unless it would be plain obvious that they were real pills as Brian837 said earlier in the thread.

no need to continue this. if you always insist your word to be the last one, fine, go for it

it's a thread about the fucking episode i asked a fucking question about. you wanted to impress with your vast knowledge of hallucinating and i simply replied that your bullshit answer didn't apply to the fucking show. you can't let go about being wrong so you start attacking me about a fucking television show moment and my asking a specific question about it.

and it's not a dumb question you dumbfuckwad. in fucking fact if you had watched the episode you'd have seen that the hallucination was only part of the plotline.

go be miserable elsewhere you stupid sack of fucking shit.

more reasons why you're a dumbfuckwad, you don't see me arguing with Brian837, but he's not a dumbfuckwad cuntlip like you.

and specifically, the plotline shows that part of the hallucinations scenes were real, such as Fox getting the name from the terrorist bomber and the marks on his chest.

so again, you're a dumbfuckwad and you can simply gofuckyourself cunt.

yeah tell me the difference about memory, imagination and hallucination
imo, it's all the same.
only difference when your consciousness being alert and expanded you see hallucinations if your mind is clogged - it has to interpret received frequencies through limited prism of an ego.

now see, that's all you had to say. you have an agenda. your nickname evens reveals you have a keen interest in such matters. and that's cool. i couldn't give a shit. but if i don't take the bait for your agenda, don't poke your finger at me, start a thread about that topic instead. but to go on to exclaim my question was dumb while you haven't even watched the episode is out of line and making it personal about me will escalate that.

what would be the difference if i didn't mention i didn't watch the episode?
i'm sure, nothing will change in my mind and in my opinion after i watch it.

that's the only ammo you've got to counter my views and opinions as you said my "agenda", but in reality i'm positive nothing will change after i'll see the episode, so what the big deal if i sow it or not, i'm sure there is nothing unique about mulder's hallucinogenic experiences with placebo or not. only the way how producers may have shown it to a viewer making it seem and look like part of his real life. see i can discuss such stuff without seeing the episode before hand.

you, on the hand, got all worked up by me only saying "dumb question", you went completely nuts, lol. gotta do something about that anger managment. we all say dumb things all the time, that's part of experience. no harm meant.

you turned a thread about a tv show into an attack on me out of the fucking blue because you didn't like my simple reply to your pseudo-science bullshit. now you seem to think me beating you at your fucking game is me having anger issues.

tired of making yourself look and sound like an idiot and want this thread to die, dina mo?
just admit you have mental issues and need to take things easy, that will be a first step in the right direction.

or will you continue to cry like a girl that someone is attacking you on the interwebs while you think it is ok for you to act like an ass?

He didn't take shrooms.. that was the whole point of the episode. The power of the mind.

Placebo effect on Mulder
Terrorists drunk on jihad

But basically, the terrorist told him the name in Arabic during the session, so no real need to go on the mushroom trip then right? Mulder leaned over and the guy whispered it to him.

no one cares what's on your radar.
keep riding blindly that delusional, narcissistic, maniacal poor high horse of yours. you only compete with yourself.

Yes, that's really possible. The one can even die with all known symptoms of a fake poison or infection like a plague for example. That's a proven fact.

He was in vegetative state so he couldn't speak. Did he wake up for a second? Maybe. But I think they spoke telepathically. In the beginning of the episode Mulder mentions necromancers/telecommunication.

No, he really didn't. You're just too far gone or have your head too far up your own ass to see it.

You're the one who took a simple thread about a TV show and totally derailed it.

You're a bat shit crazy fucking nut case or you play one for hours on end here. Either way, you come across as a lunatic to more than a few people here and it's pretty pathetic. You should get back to putting that quinoa crap you were selling in your yogurt. You were tolerable then.

All you do is argue and fight and call people here names. Grow the fuck up. I doubt you'll do that...you'll just respond by calling me names or with some lame ass comeback.
