I know John McCaffee has been a kook in the past, but I was watching him talk about this issue on CNBC yesterday and he was 100% right. Apple is doing the right thing by not allowing the FBI to have any kind of backdoor to their technology. If that backdoor info falls into the wrong hands it could be the end of privacy as we know it and could cause a societal collapse.
McCaffee suggested allowing a really good hacking group to break into the phone, because the FBI won't hire the types who are able to actually do it. Again, Trump is being the under-informed idiot that he usually is on every issue.
