Having only read the link title I'll assume it's about how watching too much news coverage of violence is effecting our psyche.

A study by the Indiana University School of Medicine examined young men and violent media exposure. There were visible alterations in MRI brain scans after only one week of playing a violent video game. In particular, there was a significant decrease in the activation of prefrontal portions of the brain and a greater activation of the amygdala.


A quick neuroscience lesson: The prefrontal cortex is the so called “thinking part” of the brain which deals with concentration, decision making, self-control and inhibition while the amygdala is part of the limbic system, the so called “emotion center” that serves many emotional functions, but can be the trigger for depression, anger, aggression and impulsive behavior.

To my knowledge this is the first prospective study showing actual brain differences in those that play a violent video game versus those who do not.

it's more about how media wrongly ties mental health to gun violence so the liberal lynch mob latches on to that to advocate things such as mental health background checks and tests for gun ownership.

No, I'm pointing out that according to that study, the only correlation between gun violence and mental health is the one the media creates. GFY liberal lynch mob takes that and claims that a mental health exam should decide who gets to own guns in America.

You can't be that dumb can you? Conservatives have never cared about lives when it comes to guns. They are always the first to block any sort of sensible legislation. Yet the first to make people jump through hoops to get voter ids.

I bet you can get a gun in Texas easier than you can register to vote.

You need more info to get a fucking drivers license in FL, than to buy a gun. I know because I've done both..
