photoshop question

yo.. like to have some images, of varying size I want set to the same size with an action... the issue being some images are horizontal and some vertical, if I set the pixel width on 'X' side, check constrain, the images will be 2 different sizes... ?

how do I do it?

I do it from Bridge, using Tools -> Photoshop -> Image Processor. There is a "Resize to Fit" option, where you put in the maximum vertical and horizontal dimensions you want.
