Reminds me - once in the US some dude asked me what car do I drive. At that time I had a bmw, I said: bee em vee. He had no idea wtf was that. I repeated few times more and maybe after 60 seconds he - ah, bee em double yoo.

Now I am thinking was he pretty dumb or people actually would not understand what a bee em vee means when talking about cars?

As for ssangyong, I call bullshit, why did she say "sa san yong" instead of "sanyong"? I mean how did she manage to think that "ss" means "sas"? Must be one unique Brit and not how majority would think?

I realize that now, but was taken by surprise. Usually people try to say brand names as how they sound in original language.
Take NIKE or cocacola for example. People do not say it in their own languages, they say it in English, because it is a brand of US. Would be funny if they said it in the way it reads in their own language.

As the video pointed it out in the beginning this doesn't goes for people from UK (or maybe for every English speaking one)

never heard of a beemer called a "bee em vee"

EDIT, I've actually watched the video now and in every example, the Brits are saying them in the same way the advertisers pronounce them on TV.

Yes, I figured this out - even advertisers push butchered names themselves, so no surprise

it's German.

Germans say V for W. Similar to Spanish, V is B, J is ha
