You can achieve Lucid Dreams without spending a dime. I used to be really into that sort of stuff about 10 years ago. Patricia Garth wrote several books on it. Lucid Dreaming is easy if you practice. A common way is to focus on your hands for 20 minutes prior to sleep. Once you start dreaming and catch site of your hands, you will realize you're in the dream. (They use the hands because they are the most common things you'll see while dreaming). Takes some practice, but it can be fun. (It won't happy EVERY time you try it though).
