This has been bothering me all day, so I thought I'd speak up...
Why didn't Harry Potter use magic to correct his eyesight, so he didn't need the glasses that left him vulnerable when he lost or broke them?

Two reasons - he was hit by a death blinding curse as a baby and it would either be too dangerous to try to reverse...or potentially cannot be reversed
Second is the author wore glasses and she once said in an interview she just wanted the hero to have glasses LOL |

Tried to get into it as a kid, but couldn't get past the first sentence. IDK it just didn't pull me in. Seems fun though, and I know lots of ppl who are lifelong fans. I feel like the internet has made a bigger deal of Harry Potter if anything
