Sponsors And Spammers?

My family email has been getting spammed endlessly lately. Since the ?opt-out? urls and buttons are crap and bounce back or go nowhere, I have been contacting the sponsors that I am finding in my inbox. The addy has never been used for a double opt in program. Most sponsors (you all see them post here regularly) are helpful and take action quickly to cancel their account and let me know what is up. Others (that post here regularly also) seem to get pissed at me for even letting them know they have a shithead putting their hardcore front ends in front of children. Somebody enters an email into a 4 free site or an email box someplace? ??..go for it. Spam the shit out of them. That is fair game. I was just a little surprised by a couple of the sponsors reaction to finding out they have affiliates putting their programs at risk.
