				SSL certificate requires dedicated IP?

			Hello,

Please give me a little help here guys. I have a server with 3 websites, all three have their own dedicated IPs. Now I want to install an SSL certificate in one of them. I have read that SSL certificates requires dedicated IP, but my doubt is: 1- Can I use the dedicated IP that I currently use in my website? Or I need to have a new dedicated IP exclusively for SSL? Sorry for the question, I'm a newbie Thanks!! |

If your site uses a dedicated ip then you can just buy the SSL and install it. No need for 2 dedicated ips per website.

Yes, you do not need that, you can use multiple certs.

Depends of your hosting provider. In some cases you can install on shared server, in other not. But a SSL requires a dedicated Ip. The conclusion is that no matter that you own a dedicated IP, is enough if your account is hosted on a server which have dedicated IP.
