I have repeatedly said that migrants like you and me were allowed to migrate before the EU made it possible for everyone to migrate. The problem with the EU policy is it allows low-skilled, low paid and unemployed to move and leech off countries or put native workers out of a job or on a lower pay. Benefitting only the rich. So we can assume by your stance you're a staunch capitalist/conservative.

Everyone has their reasons for wanting in or out, but honestly the whole thing is comical, as is any political difference of opinion - I don't get half as worked up about my football team as people do with their political beliefs - and lets not forget, beliefs/viewpoints is ALL they are for anyone.

There will ALWAYS be the bad shit that goes on in the world like wars, racism, homophobia, and so on - being in or out of the EU won't change that, regardless of the desperate hope that some people have that it will, and there'll always be good things like foreign aid, people being decent to each other, and so on, regarless if we are in the EU or out of it (or if the EU even exists) - the (probably) deciding factor for me was: do I think more gov't is best overall for people, or less. When the mandarins in Brussels decided to go from the Common Market to the EU they fucked Europe. Since then they haven't stopped building power, passing laws and increasing their power over Europeans. Because States mainstream parties were 100% behind the EU dream.

The biggest mistake of the EU was allowing economically poor and weak States to join. Then allow those States to adopt the Euro and borrow way beyond their means. Dumping most of Southern Europe into high debt.

Their next mistake was to allow people to move from one State to another and take jobs away from residents. Lowering standards of living for most Northern Europeans. And lowering tax revenues and raise Welfare Payments.

Now we see a growing Far Right Movement. The Liberals love to whoop and cheer when people like Geert Wilders, UKIP, Norbert Hofer, Le Pen, etc don't win power. 20 years ago the Far Right were a joke, today they're an alternative and even called populists. Because the EU has lost the will of many people. In fact, there are now parties inside the EU Parliament dedicated to destroying it.

The EU either stops treating people like sheep or the sheep will vote them out. It's not a question of if, but when.
