Domain SEO Value
Hi all, i own a bunch of very short .st Domains and have plans to host sites on them...my question is, do search engines rank these domains lower then .com ?
I ask becauce im finding traffic a very hard thing to achieve on my domain. Thanks for your help. Jizzy |

It will be hard to rank a domain with that extension.
Better let it expire and go with .com/.net/.org |

People will comment on this subject without any experience, you should just case study it yourself - if you think the domain is hurting your rankings just have a .com backup and 301 the site. I would typically use .st for a url shortner rather than building an actual site on it. I have only used .com .net and .xyz which I can say index in google fine.
It really depends on how good you are at this, a shit website with bad SEO won't rank even as a .com

I think the extension only matters for branding, not for SEO. All extensions have the same chance of ranking.
If your domain is easy to remember - which I think it is - it's fine |

The extension may be useful when you are targeting a specific GEO. So let's say you have a domain with the extension co.uk it may be easier to rank for keywords such as uk porn et cetera. You may still have a great success with any weird extension if your site is quality.
