I would never do fiverr gig for my adult sites.
But i tried logo and banner service. There are some great deals there but you really get what you paid for.

Indeed, this is the case with a lot of things in life.

We had a Fiverr Gig there for a couple of our link packages and quickly learned that there's a LOT of sites looking for links there. But most want the dirt cheap, bargain basement links, bulk links, or cheap permanent links -- which is simply not our demographic.

That said, we've picked up a few really good, solid clients over the years from Fiverr -- some of them with very well-known sites.

Agreed! When I tested I didn't even complain about the bot traffic, or the fake sites which appear temporarily to show your link/ad, fake sites which then vanish into thin air once gig is over. I just thought "That's what you get for five bucks!"

Agreed. I'm biased, obviously. But some of those Fiverr gigs create sales pitches that some people seem to just eat it up there. I cannot tell you how many people I have spoken to over the years who have bought the cheap bulk spammy links / permanent links and then found they had to work even harder because their sites slipped in the rankings and/or they ended up having to disavow the same bulk cheap links that promised them the world.

Due diligence is important and, as someone said earlier in the thread, ask the seller to show you their sites first before purchasing anything from them.

There are plenty of scam artists on fiverr I had one guy claiming had all the traffic from pornhub but website was called redtubepornhub and was Alexa about 20 million. I have dealt with tonnes of poor gigs on fiver but there are a few good ones I have found a few.
I have bought hundreds of gigs mainly mainstream some work some don't
