Backups on Portable HDD
I "found" my portable hdd today. It made me wonder if there is a similar device to backup iPads and mini iPads.
Until I move, I can't backup since my wifi is a thirty-minute connection, then relogin. Anything being done stops but doesn't continue, it restarts. I'd like internal and external backups.

You can with Android and with a Windows10 tablet -- I don't have an iPhone/iPad to test with.
You need a file manager that will make the SSD USB 2 writable (with Android) A powered hub between the phone and the SSD USB 2 (may not work right without additional power supplied) Never had any luck with USB 3 storage devices I just tested this and it worked after a few initial connections (bit buggy on android) Does your iPhone/iPad allow for a usb hardwire connection to your PC? That would be the easiest and requires no new hubs or WiFi /LAN... |
