I was on Facebook earlier tonight and I noticed there are a lot of "younger women" who "work in marketing" but have nothing to their Facebook page other than a handful of pictures. I am not saying they are fake, but instead that they created their profile just for this new job they have and they will be gone in six months.

You'd have a combination of people who'd blacklist GFY, flame it, trash them on hundreds of their networked tumblrs etc. It would just be a waste of time and energy to bring new blood I've currated to GFY, in it's current state.

Nobody posting in this thread has said GFY is a place they'd bring friends, talent or employees, the multiple fake nic hate trolls are why, and that's why GFY is dying

Most forums for most industries are ghost towns and have been for years. If those forums were not industry specific names like GFY is and left unmoderated they might actually still have some life to them. They are just milking the cow as much as they can until the few of us left quit coming around.

I use to own imhigh.com I put up a forum on it years ago and it was pretty funny reading the posts. That's one name I should have kept and left the forum up. Many of the dope heads paranoia kicked in and were afraid it was run by the police.

When I started posting on GFY again I noticed things had changed, and patterns by non industry posters, and was curious what it was all about. I'm an A type personality that always likes to know how the pieces fit into the big picture, this is why I'm a successful early adapter to new platforms etc. A lot of us in porn are A type self starters, as are most entrepreneurs, etc.

The number of daily troll hate nics, posting is 2-3 and they have 2 fake nics each and 1 or two that occasionally post and take the place of one of the main nics when it's banned.
