I love red wine in particular Chateau Mouton Rothschild. Many years ago i purchased 10 cases of 1961 vintage for a comparatively small amount in the UK. It's now selling for upwards of $1600 a bottle. Now the choice is drink or sell ?

Red wine drinker here and it's hard to go past an good Australian Shiraz, European wines don't do it for me generally, I like a big bold wine with out the excessiveness of a CabSav and even then they are hit and miss body wise. My wifes from a big wine growing area in NZ and got hooked on it then, very few NZ wines I like though. |

In summer I prefer white - Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc or Irsai Oliver.
If red, then Beaujolais |

I drink it to fast to collect hehe. I have a friend that owns and Italian restaurant, comes here once a month for dinner and always brings some wine's sommelier picks out, nothing really rocked my socks off though. Aussie Shiraz is hard to beat, lot of really good ones in that $30- 50 range
Problem with drinking wine from other counties is you usually only see the mass produced wines, small wineries that don't produce enough for export are where the gems are found. I always thought American wines were crap.. till I went to Nappa, I always thought Spanish wines were crap, Till I went to Rioja and so on Cant say I'm a wine connoisseur, there shit, or oh that's nice, or mmm that's fucking wonderful |

These does not seem to indicate type of grapes?
Type of grape is the most important before the brand name even, so it is strange that people mention brands and no mention of grapes. Grapes before brand! |

Red, frizzante & sweet and from Lettere. The absolute best wine for any red sauce pasta or pizza... Good luck finding it in the US though...

I consume about 1/2 litre of resveratrol daily and resveratrol is the only way to go, but it has to be a decent quality. For me it is:
Daytime its Rosso di Montalcino Evening it is Brunello di Montalcino Sometime it may be something from the Rhone valley. And there you go. |

I'm a sucker for Santa Cristina in Italy, Cote de Rhone in France, and a Chardonnay from the Galilee. Been working with wine for years, one of the most fun products ever.
Selling it, serving it, drinking it, it's all fun for me.
