Is this a viable plan if Trump is removed from office?

Can't happen
25th Amendment
Section 2 Whenever there is a vacancy in the office of the Vice President, the President shall nominate a Vice President who shall take office upon confirmation by a majority vote of both Houses of Congress. No way would both houses put TRUMP back in. |

libby la times: "The Democrats regaining control of the Senate, which they lost in 2014, is almost impossible to fathom." libby vox.com: "The Senate map is so mind-bogglingly awful for them that retaking the chamber in 2018 seems out of reach" As for house I also do not seem to find anyone predicting a sure overtaking of control. So remaining GOP control in both houses is most probable and not slim to none. |

Lets say you have some losing basketball team. Then it gets new sponsors, huge players etc. They become contenders. And then you would come and say "historically this team proved to show bad results"? Or would you disregard that "historical" component knowing that it will be most likely broken? |

Last couple of elections 95+% (Reelection Rates Over the Years | OpenSecrets) of house of representatives got re-elected, and currently they hold a significant 246-194 majority, so they might lose a few seats, but chances that they will lose majority are actually pretty remote. That's especially considering that the democratic party has nothing going for them, no plan, no new ideas, etc, just blabbing 24/7 about "Trump", "Russia" and other nonsense that in no way makes average voter's life any better.
