Get REALLY fucking drunk the night before. When you wake up from passing out, take another few shots of whiskey. Get a ride to the courthouse and walk in smoking a half burnt cigar, smelling like whiskey and unshave/unshowered.

They will send you home. Trust me

I just went a few months ago and wouldn't you know it, the first group I go with is for a child abuse/death case and I knew one of the defendants familymembers through another person. I pointed this out, I was dismissed, went back to the pool and played the trauma card and was released for the day. I guess it's good to be introduced to people once in a while.

This worked for my sister when she had her 1st kid. She couldnt afford day care or a baby sitter, Play the single parent card.

Although you never know what the lawyers
are looking for. I ended up on a case that lasted 3 months.
I was told 3 days. i thought i would get out cause i was a
private investigator at the time but the defense wanted me cause
they had a lot of evidence that came from a PI

But the thing is we all complain about some of the verdicts but they do not end up with many quality people on the jury I was on the others were total idiots. a few slept thrrough most of the trial.

In your mind, put yourself in the defendant or plantiffs position... and then think about having a jury of peers made up of people who have nothing better to do, or too stupid to get out of jury duty... and then think about them determining your fate.
