I believe this was mentioned on GFY a while back - the "Vault" in Naples Florida - to keep your exotic car safe. Seems this hurricane is about to slam into Naples shortly.... Good luck with that!

The site claims it's an "Intricately engineered hurricane proof concrete structure". Hopefully that's not just advertising talk.

The "concrete structure" is cinder block it appears. No mention of flood proof. If it were really hurricane/tornado proof it would have been built with ICF forms. A friend of mine built his with ICF to withstand a direct hit from f-4 tornado.

I read another article this morning about a Lamborghini dealership in Florida that moved all of their cars to a condo.... It's one of those condos with elevators for cars so you can store your car in your apartment....
