VEGAS SHOOTER'S ROOM OFF LIMITS
... So is Entire 32nd Floor

The Las Vegas shooter's 32nd-floor suite at Mandalay Bay is still completely shut off to the public, and in fact ... the whole floor's on lockdown.
One of our guys hit up the hotel Friday to check out the situation with Stephen Paddock's room after reports the hotel planned to never rent it out again. This video shows you can't even get close to the suite.
Elevators won't allow guests to get off on the 32nd floor, and security guards are stationed in stairwells to block access.
Law enforcement sources tell us Vegas PD completed the investigation of the suite, and they've turned it back over to the resort -- but it's clear Mandalay Bay's not ready to let morbid sightseers gawk at it.

To add to the strangeness, the Las Vegas coroner's office is also on lockdown. I've never heard of anything like this before.

A guy jumped off the balcony where I live, the entire floor was locked down for 3 weeks while they investigated, and it was a clear cut, did he jump or was pushed suicide.

With a mass shooting I'd presume it would be locked down for months to years.. Also given the amount of conspiracy theories and internet investigation nut cases out there, I cant see how any of this is of any surprise to anyone, oh except the conspiracy theorists again.

The shooter was a lunatic gun owner with gambling issues, accept it.

MGM properties make up much of the Vegas strip. 500+ lawsuits against them is a really big deal for them and the city. It is also possible that uninjured fans could get money.

I believe this was the motive for local authorities to alter the timeline. They wanted to tighten things up so that it left less room to say that the hotel didn't act fast enough.
