I predict that BTC will exceed $10k in the next day or so and that once there, you'll start to see a small sell-off. I think $10k is a milestone for some traders to say "Boom! That's it! I've made my money", and sell their BTC's. I think the price will drop after this down to around $9500, but not much lower, and then BTC will rise again passed $10k, passed $11k, and on and on...

Keep an eye on the price! Consider selling some in the $10k range and get ready to buy again at the $9.5k range.

It is true that the market likes round numbers. Anyone that still hasn't gotten in could get in now and ride it to $10k and sell half. I'm thinking a 20% pullback to $8000 would be more reasonable. But I know nothing...

I just read that the TV show The Big Bang Theory is going to have an episode this week where bitcoin plays a major role. That massive publicity could send people looking and buying. I won't be shocked if it takes a big turn up shortly after the show airs.

Anyway, God no, don't take it as advice. My word was "suggestion". I'm no crypto currency expert, that's for sure. I made an expensive mistake years ago so now I just buy and sit on it. My suggestion is about how others I know are reacting to this, and saying they will sell at $10k. That's all.

Personally I don't think we'll see a big change based on the dollar value. If there's another failed fork, or a country takes legal action against bitcoin we'll see a big temporary pullback which might be worth buying in again at. I'll be holding past 10k.

Bloomberg is touting in an article how to sell Bitcoin short -- I just read the headline.

I do find it humorous that the Bitcoin is shown as gold shiny objects in its media hype. I guess a jar of air would not sell too well.

Domain names were jars of air too (in the beginning) -- there is a whole new market developing in that ...
