Help a lady out, this traffic is BULLSHIT
One of my contractors decided to pay a guy on fiverr for traffic.
Well, this traffic is BULLSHIT obviously. He's hitting my site with so many ips it's ridiculous and they are all coming back to Cloudflare. I don't want to keep blocking IP addresses but not sure how to get it to where they can't access anymore. They are blowing up my search meter with bullshit searches. Google analytics tells me it's organic traffic but as little as I do know about traffic, I know that can't be real. What can I do? |

When it comes to buying traffic you get what you pay for. I would contact this person on Fivrr immediately and tell them to STOP. Hopefully it did not cost you a lot. Tell him to keep the $ but just stop sending traffic now.
Best of luck, stuff like this sucks!

I have rarely bought traffic for exactly this reason. I don't understand it quite enough to know what's good and what's not good. I know though when you have that big of an increase, and no real increase in new customers, or call attempts, then something ain't right.
We just plug away every day at organic traffic. We have started using juicy ads quite a bit and I do like that. It's really probably time for a marketing manager if I want to reach the next level. |
