Same issue here. I think its related to their end-of-period, first-of-month accounting.

I'm guessing they're making so much bank now, that they have a not-enough-CPU-power-in-the-world problem at accounting time that's so intense, it begins to cripple the normal appearance of their site and API function.

Update: nevermind, all systems seem to be returning to normal.
