Tips on filling advert/classifieds website
Hi all, so I am investigating on how to fill up or start off a advert/classifieds website.
In other words, how to get the first advertisers. Fake ads etc, really not in to that. Thinking about give something for placing an ad, like cash or points or whatever. Maybe a weekly lottery with prices among existing ads. Any other ideas? Thanks! |

Shouldn't you be more worried about getting a customer base for those advertisers? After all, they won't advertise if there are no potential customers to see their ads. Adding a classifieded section to an existing niche site may make sense, but trying to compete with Craigslist, OfferUp, etc. will be hard.
