For me it just feels clunky now. The old version was fast and got the job done nicely. This new one seems the lag although I like that they integrated Keep with it.

I changed to the new one as soon as it came out and never looked back.

I logged in to an old Gmail account the other day which was set to classic and it looked horrible to me. So it's just a matter of what you are used to.

The new version takes forever to load. Then when you click out, if you look closely, you are actually closing multiple windows. Redundancy? WHAT is Google actually doing behind the scenes? This is why it takes so long to load, to close, to surf through messages.

Once verything IS loaded then it's fine but that initial minute or so creeps me the fuck out. It's like OK now time to multiply the windows, save the data, forward the data, have bots run through the data....fuck GMail. Seriously.
