i've seen uncensored videos of how "moderate" these non-ISIS "rebel groups" are. For example a guy cut the heart out of his victim and ate it. And these are "our" allies.

They're savages who pillage, rape and torture. These are the bad guys in reality - Assad is a good guy compared to them - yet the west has made them the "good guys" lol. And these good guys are fighting the same enemy as ISIS (Assad). It's fucking retarded. ISIS was never the mission of US and EU policy, you really saw it when ISIS was getting more and more diminished. Problem is you can't really sell Assad to the public as the devil anymore when ISIS was killing people in the streets of Europe.

this case is well known and i saw it many years ago in swiss TV news when the syrian civil war started.

this is also what makes the thing so complex and difficult because you can´t blame assad for the arab spring.
