A huge username, email address and password dump has just been discovered of massive proportions. Collection #1 is a set of email addresses and passwords totalling 2,692,818,238 rows.

Yes, this is a thing in our modern world. But you think this is bad? Think of when RealID goes into effect in the USA. RealID was created with only the best intentions. Eventually, everything you do will depend on your RealID. Travel, banking, having a job, driving a car, owning a home, getting insurance, visiting a doctor.

Once this becomes the backbone of modern society, think about what would happen if/when that database gets hacked? Or a govt laptop gets stolen because some dipshit forgets to lock a vehicle? Trust me, I'm certain some kind of fuckup will eventually happen with all that data.

Then, all that info eventually ends up on the Dark Web. Then, suddenly no one can definitively prove who they are anymore. Everything that depends on RealID will need to be suspended immediately. Money is frozen in all bank accounts until a solution is found. And that solution must come quickly with little thought of ramifications, before society collapses, before people starve.

It will force something drastic to be done. Think about it, there will be no choice. Something drastic like microchipping everyone, or tattooing a QR code onto everyone. If you refuse it, you're fucked. Forget about banking, buying, selling. In modern society, you're practically erased out of existence. You can't even seek refuge in a different country because you can't travel. Well, you could just walk across the border to Mexico, right? Not with Trump's wall, you won't.

A shitstorm of this magnitude, until now, has only been possible in people's wildest, most far-fetched imaginations. But at the level of technology mankind is ascending to, we're just a few short years away from this being possible as fuck. And scary as fuck.

Its ironic how people who were essentially cavemen could so perfectly predict, thousands of years ago, an age where a shitstorm like this will happen. And write it all down in a book which is presumed to be a fairytale.
