Sadly, if you want fast and reliable internet, a business account from them is pretty much the only choice here.

I worked for Cox years ago, I hated dealing with Vegas because every time I had to send out a tech, it was at least a week or two for an open spot. At the time, they said they were the only cable provider there because no one else would because of maintenance costs. Hot during the day, cold at night isn't too great for the lines.

And that's why you pay for a business account. I've called them at 11pm for an outage before, and they had a tech out here at 1am.
