easier to pay for hosting and buy shit in US etc.
but no replacement card for my area now.
They advised me to wait patiently and in the meanwhile i'm more than welcome to use their wire transfer and pay 50 usd fee to receive it on my aruba bank account and then wire it back to USA for another 35 usd fee to pay for a 12usd domain renewal lol.

Luckily I epayments and epayservices work well for now.

They have problem with dollar and one of them with adult

Paxum Unionpay Card Activation Update

We sincerely apologize for the continued delay of Unionpay Card Activation. We know it's frustrating to have to wait to activate a card you already have in your possession. Unfortunately we have been delayed with the activation function due to some difficulties with the Unionpay API. We are in communication with Unionpay regarding the problem and we have asked them to investigate and assist. The activation function should be available soon and we thank you for your continued patience while this issue is resolved. We will notify you as soon as we have an update.

brassmonkey 07-02-2019 12:25 PM

you guys better find something else. this is pure bs

digitalfantasies 07-02-2019 12:42 PM

Weeks to solve a "difficulty with an API" sure. I bet the average gfy'er could solve a difficulty with an API with a chick on the dick and bottle of whisky in hand in a matter of hours max.

My guess is you have a lot of difficulties, but API's not being one of them
and how many more weeks/months after that before there is a solution for people not living in the "select areas" that qualify for unionpay card

nastymaster 07-02-2019 03:38 PM

Amount is not transferred to the card.

Websters defines 'soon' as: 'in or after a short time'.
Paxum's definition: A perpetually moving target, aggravated by an unusual arrangement with a major financial institution (Unionpay) and Paxum, where it appears that communication between the two parties is conducted by 2 tin cans and a string, with the string being broken in the middle.

C'mon Paxum, anyone and everyone knows that your excuses are just that, excuses and are masking something much deeper. First you lose EFT ability in your major countries (in the world of banking, that's actually a pretty serious issue) and now this, where we are supposed to believe that a major like Unionpay takes weeks to fix an api.

Oh boy, the stories that you weave.

Holy Damage 07-03-2019 09:54 AM

1 week Paxum timeframe means 1 month/year ours

hdbuilder 07-05-2019 09:47 AM

Would be nice to have that API working today, just before the week-end...

Would also be nice if giraffes actually did produce skittles when you milk them, like in the commercials. But alas, both are whimsical fantasies.

Chris, fact remains, communications to your customers has been abysmal...aka non-existent. A client should never have to find out that a service has been removed by having it fail. I have yet to receive a single notice from Paxum regarding any of the significant changes.

This is a very good point.

It seems the only time that Paxum communicates news proactively is when something "good" happens. Do we see pinned threads advising that EFT is no longer available to countries X, Y, and Z? No.

If Paxum can no longer provide a service, or there's a substantial change, they should immediately advise any affected customers.

I log in once per two weeks, and do not appreciate wondering each time whether there's going to be a "surprise" when I attempt to withdraw my funds.

Where can i check if there is new card sent to my emialbox. WHere i can check is this UnionPay card which still not working is sent to me or no?

Canada-eh 07-08-2019 08:29 PM

If your affiliate program offers it, I would recommend bypassing Paxum altogether and use the affiliate program's wire transfer services. Usually the same or less than the Paxum charge + you get charged your banks currency exchange instead of Paxum's banking partner rates, potentially shaving a few percent off your expenses.

Also, most affiliates will withdraw many payments together.
15 withdrawal fees > 1 withdrawal fee

MatureKing 07-11-2019 02:59 AM

Paxum, I can have too much problems, if you not aftivate it this week

askjoe 07-11-2019 04:36 AM

I´m running after my 3k dollars for weeks..This sucks.

Adraco 07-11-2019 06:28 AM

@askjoe did you try to pay with your card via Paypal? Worked for me and I drained my card that way. Send the money to a friend!

Doesn´t work for me.
Well. They sended us all the info to contact someone directly from WFCU Credit Union, and WFCU.
And they wrote:"WFCU is not the owner or administrator of your Paxum account or your
Paxum TruCash prepaid card.
"

That's right, we all did. The one with the subject "Paxum Unionpay Card Update". But it didn't tell us more about anything.. When I saw it on Monday I was shocked and I was like, it can't be, it's finally ready, just to realize it's nothing but another "sorry, it's coming soon" message. Most likely because people are getting nervous and they thought it's time for an official statement. Anyway, nothing till next Monday I guess. :Oh crap

MatureKing 07-12-2019 10:31 AM

May be before the Monday were no actions

ANAL PASTE 07-12-2019 10:49 AM

10K wire sitting in la-la land since July 2nd. But I did get a voucher for free wire "next time".

MatureKing 07-12-2019 11:16 AM

nikki99 07-12-2019 11:18 AM

nesasrb 07-12-2019 10:28 PM

I just contacted her as well. Paxum was founded back in 2007, so I assume they already have an office where the so called "devs" and "support team" works, so she can just go and investigate the situation... I really hope Paxum is bigger now then a "Work from home" project..

MatureKing 07-15-2019 05:28 AM

zerovic very interesting talk.. but! we need news

k0nr4d 07-15-2019 06:03 AM

Did anyone return the card ot the credit union yet? I'm about to do so.

Where would you return it?

I would wait just a bit more just in case they finally get it to work. But given the number of days we have been waiting I expect Paxum to issue a statement saying that the will not be able to use those UnionPay at all. They are probably trying to find yet another replacement and will ask to order some other card they will find. Then we will wait another 2 months to get it, etc, etc.

I hope I'm wrong, I really do. But despite Ruth said that it's just a technical issue, I think everybody understand that the real story must be a lot more complicated than that.

I think he means Trucash card, not Unionpay card.
