That's probably because you bank account is in CAD. Add a new USD bank account and then it will work.

I have some good amount of money in my paxum and I never tried wire or EFT transfers. I only used the paxum card and the external credit card and now it's not working too, I am from europe and I hope everything works out ... I hope they fix the PAXUM CARD soon though.

Fixing current card is unlikely, make sure to order the unionpay, best bet at this time.

So what we will be losing our money on the Paxum card? I have X,XXX on there! How do I order unionpay? When I go into the Apply For Card nothing is appearing there for me ... not cards available.

You mean your Trucash card? it still works, you can spend the money currently on it. Just that you can't fund it anymore.

Oh, ATM, yeah...that's an issue and I wouldn't bet it will work again. The only thing you can do it spend as much as you can from it.

I wonder if you could buy a Western Union to yourself using the card... But that would cost some fees...

Grocery, gaz, shopping, restaurants etc. all you buy, basically the cash you wanted to take out, what were you expecting to pay with it? Can you pay with MAsterCard instead? For my biz I use it to pay for advertising, hosting. I have it linked to my paypal. it works for everything but ebay.

Are you in Russia?

My last purchase was 12 hours ago, using paypal, worked.

To know for sure email service at trucash.com ask them why your transaction was declined.

This seems to be the end of Paxum, no point in using it as an intermediary solution anymore. No ETA when or if this situation will be fixed, no alternative to TruCash has been found in a year now, I guess this is game over.

Its not over. This is still good sollution for small sponsors, small payments. In modern world every account will be reported to your tax office! In Canada where paxum is registered. Every old card account with payments over 1200 per month is reported to owner country. Thats why they collect your bills to determine tax residency. So no mater card or wire. You will be reported. Dont use their cc to awoid taxes. Now this wont work! Send money to own account by wire etf and use your own card! And pay taxes.. cards are reported as well since 2018 in Canada.

Who reports what exactly?

When reporting my income, I add up my check stubs and print out invoices that sponsors send me when they pay by Paxum.

Are you saying sponsors report their Paxum payment to affiliates to the gov?

Or does Paxum report payments to the government? If so, how do they know what a payment is and what isn't (ex: PP to paxum transfer etc.).

I don't want my gov to think I am getting more payments than I really am?

Read about crs reporting Canada. You will See. Non residents are reported to original residency tax authorities. So they will know how much you declared and how much you had on foreign accounts. Balance at end of the year is reported but albo sum of all payments over the year... every cc account must be reported since 2018. Never wonder why they need utility bill? And gov id? They must determine your tax residency for proper reporting... look inside paxum. You will se there your own tax number... small accounts (up to 1200 per Month) is not reported. But i'm not sure is it regarding only Old accounts or maybe new as well

( dosen't make sense EFT for Canadian is down Already for days )

Unless i do something wrong in process ( I doubt ) IF Wire in Canada dosent work Paxum is USELESS for me.
No Card - NO EFT - Now no more Wire............

Sending an email to Ruth to find out ( GREAT ITS THE WEEKEND ) but that's Not Looking Good AT ALL.....
Same thing happening to me. It rejects my attempt to transfer funds from my USD Paxum to AUD Paxum account (in preparation for a wire withdrawal), and tells me to use EFT. Except Paxum no longer supports EFT to AUD accounts

Seems like this rejection is designed to help people save money (EFT being much cheaper), but they need to remove this because right now that's the ONLY option I have to withdraw my funds.

So here's the situation.

- I cannot withdraw from my Paxum USD account via EFT (AUD no longer supported)
- I can withdraw from my Paxum AUD account via wire.
- But! I cannot transfer from my Paxum USD to Paxum AUD account.
- Nor can I withdraw by wire to an AUD bank account from my Paxum USD account.

So my funds are effectively stuck in an account I cannot withdraw from, and the only one to withdraw is from an account I cannot transfer funds into.

Paxum USD: no EFT withdraw, no wire withdraw, no internal transfer, $xxxx balance. I can't do ANYTHING with this account.
Paxum AUD: wire withdraw available, $0.00 balance

Yeah I get it.

Again though, hard to determine what a payment is (income) and what a non-income transaction is like transfers to PP or other currencies, refunds, friends who send money + other forms of payment.

In any case, if the gov audits me I have all the paperwork for my income, but can't prove a PP to Paxum transfer wasn't income etc...

We'll see.

This .... Good advice.

I give every payment receipt/ invoice to my accountant and she take care of the rest.
Not really worth it to try to hide from CRS they will catch up on you one day YOU DON'T EXPECT even if you die your estate will be seize in no time

Remember when that banner ran at the top of GFY, advertising epassporte's numbered card? Yeah, that went well.

If there weren't so many people trying to hide their income through "money movers" like Paxum, we'd probably have a less regulated, more reliable service!

This isn't about Big Brother. My point is that law abiding citizens are probably impacted by rules and regulations introduced because of people trying to hide income. If Paxum's so clean then why are the backend providers constantly dropping them?

Well, I'm not saying that hiding income is not an issue but there could be lots more reasons why Paxum and Epass etc. can have these problems with backend providers. Allowing adult transactions, cryptocurrency loading, money laundering, people breaking TOS like weapon sales etc., pressure from governments, reputation of anything that's not PPal, gambling association etc...

Paxum is very good service, when you use many programs and earn $100-200 per month as webmaster

but forget about tax evasion by using their paycard
forget about their paycard at all

you can have cheap cc where you live! and transfer money from paxum via wire or ETF
no problem with this, but you must pay taxes

if you want to use their paycard you will pay taxes as well, matter of time (your local tax authorities will know)

you must know that in current world you can't hide what you earned in other country as individual person!
THIS IS OVER
every pay card account will be reported when you reached some (not high) earned amount.

read what is reported in Canada, starting 2018 (almost everything...)

https://www.canada.ca/en/revenue-age...#_Toc475109465

the same in other countries

so wire money from paxum , pay local taxes, and use your personal CC
this is simple and safe solution

- Nor can I withdraw by wire to an AUD bank account from my Paxum USD account.

So my funds are effectively stuck in an account I cannot withdraw from, and the only one to withdraw is from an account I cannot transfer funds into.

Paxum USD: no EFT withdraw, no wire withdraw, no internal transfer, $xxxx balance. I can't do ANYTHING with this account.
Paxum AUD: wire withdraw available, $0.00 balance
Got a reply from Ruth Today and My wire is initiated. ( will update when funds is in my bank account ).
sending you pm probably samething you need to change in your account.

Thanks

Thanks for that! It's something I did consider might work, but I don't really want to "experiment" when it involves transferring 4 figures.

For others, the solution to be able to initiate a wire from your USD Paxum balance to your non USD bank account is that you have to change the settings (within Paxum) for your bank account to USD. So instead of first converting from USD to <your currency> within Paxum, they send a USD wire and let your bank do the currency conversion. The latter makes more sense to me.

this is simple and safe solution
If the taxes take 50% of your earnings and you work for 5 USD per hour, that leaves you working for 2.5 USD per hour. And those paid taxes don't go to anything useful (like health system, better infrastructure etc.). Can you now see why some people have incentive to avoid paying taxes?

I'm glad you're so eager to give your earned money to the state (and get something in return). Not all places in the world function on that principle.

you don't understand me
i agree with you 100%

but they will know that you don't pay taxes - because of CRS reporting

sooner or later they will knock to your door for tax arrears, probably with additional fine
world changed, its over

Know its not wire related but if you have issue loading your card its 90% of the time due to the card issuer not having loaded their account in time or there were delays in loading the card funding account, I would raise a ticket and then you might get priority when the account is loaded ;)

With regards to taxes any company I've worked for asked for a court order asking them to hand over the documents requested.

Hmm interesting, my experience was the opposite: I received an email saying that my wire request was completed.

Note that AllAboutCams is still waiting for the wire that Paxum supposedly sent around 3 weeks ago. I really hope mine doesn't get lost.

Hope you get yours .

Emailing Ruth now to find out more details about why it's rejected.

Hmm. Bank account is missing in their system. Used it to withdrawal via EFT for over a year. Now it has mysteriously disappeared from the system.
